Research infrastructure
The Quantum Technology Group is equipped with:
- Three cryogen-free dilution and one conventional refrigerator setups for spin qubit experiments
- One cryogen-free dilution refrigerator with a confocal microscope and optics setup for optical experiments on gate defined quantum dot qubits
- One conventional dilution refrigerator for scanning SQUID microscopy with dispersive readout
- Various 1.5 K and 4 K cryostat and diagnostic equipment
- Access to extensive fabrication facilities at RWTH Central Laboratory for Micro- and Nanotechnology and at the Helmholtz Nano Facility at Forschungszentrum Jülich (link to HNF), including a professionally operated 100 kV electron beam writer
- Mechanical and electronics workshops
- Helium recovery and liquefier facility
